SnapAddon: FOCKE-WULF Turbojet Fw 190TL (circa 1944)

The Fw 190TL was an early Focke-Wulf attempt to produce a jet powered
fighter in 1941 by replacing the BMW 801 twin-row radial with a simple
centrifugal jet engine. The Focke-Wulf T.1X 1 turbojet was initially
selected to replace the BMW to an existing production Fw 190A frame but
with the project being abandoned in 1942. Maybe in time the pioneering
of this early vision of jet capability might have been overcame and as
an interim jet-fighter applied as a stop-gap while the Me 262 became
fully operational.

This new jet fighter has been configured solely for fun and comes under
the heading of the "What-if" theme. Be aware that the 1.2a patch may not
be recommended with this plane still reacting to its original AI flight
characteristics for close-in aerial fighting which you might find them a
little suicidal inside an enemy box formation. Loadouts have also been
restricted to ordnances typically carried out by an interceptor with a
fragmentation loadout featured for air-to-air attacks that may be used
against large bomber formations.
